My customer is using AWR6843ISK. They want to evaluate "occupancy and vital signs detection" demo.

Can they save the EVM UART output? If yes, let us know how to do that.

Hi,

The "Data Packet Format" details the data format in which the data is sent from the device. This can be parsed and stored to a file if needed. The parsing script provides the details of the same.

Does it mean we can use vod_vital_signs.m to save the data? In other words, Matlab is required to save the data?

Overhead Mount Vehicle Occupancy Detection can save the data (fHistRT.mat).

Hi Ken,

the matlab GUI code provided can be modified to save the data in .mat files or any other format as needed. The o/p is provided as part of the UART data and the format of the UART data is detailed in the user guide.
