Hi team,

This is Gopinath T, a Technical Associate from Thiagarajar College of Engineering. I am currently working on a mmwave RADAR project using AWR1843BOOST. I have a basic level of doubt about antenna polarization.

Can I call the antenna to be vertically polarized or oriented, when it is placed in the following position?

Hello,

The Antennas on AWR1843BOOST are linearly polarized. So you are correct in assuming that the antennas in standing position are vertically polarized and when rotated 90 degrees is horizontally polarized.
