IWR6843AOP: Is there a UART based Flash programming utility that is compatible with Windows XP

We are trying to use the UART for production programming of the IWR6843AOP SPI Flash. We have been using Uniflash for development, but the production tester we're using includes a Windows XP PC which is not compatible with Uniflash. Is there a UART based Flash programming utility for IWR6843 that is compatible with Windows XP?

Hi Ruben,

Unfortunately, Uniflash is the only tool we support for this and it is not supported by Windows XP.

This means to flash via UART on a windows XP the flashing commands would either need to be sent manually. The code for our uniflash utility is public and can be used to help with this. The document I sent in my previous response details this process.

It is also possible to manually flash via SPI.
