MMWCAS-RF-EVM: PMIC selection

Hi,

we are developing our MMWCAS-RF-EVM custom, due to semicoductor shortage we can't select the PMIC LP87524P, so we will include other very similar, the LP87523JRNFTQ1 PMIC.

We want to use our custom board to capture raw data with the mmwave studio tool. At first, the register maps and i2c addresses are the same in both components, so we don't expected any changes in the software (we suppose that the MMWAVE-DFP software configures the PMICs in the MMWCAS-RF-EVM).

Could you confirm us if the new PMIC requieres a change in the software? (Although we don't believe so).

    Hi,

         Please note we use LP87524P PMIC in the Cascade RF EVM and not the LP87524 PMIC. Secondly, for communication to go through successfully the I2C address, register map and timings should be same. I would strongly recommend to post the review comments on the different PMIC selection on respective e2e also.
