Hi,
For my design, I need 3 wire two RTD signaling circuit in one IC?
Is this Type of IC available in Texas or else support me other parts with this application.
Thanks & Regards,
Pushkarani T L

Hello Pushkarani,
This thread is identical to the one you posted earlier: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1125310/3-wire-rtd-signaling-circuit . As such, it is being deleted to avoid confusion. Just curious as to why you re-posted the same issue?

Hi Pushkarani T L,
I would recommend looking at TI's portfolio of precision ADCs, and I can also recommend the following Guide to RTD Measurements application report.
As an alternative, the TMP117 is an IC temperature sensor that can potentially replace an RTD. The operating temperature is not as wide, -55 to 150°C, but the TMP117 can achieve higher accuracy than a Class B RTD with less extensive circuitry. We have an application report detailing several RTD alternatives and the comparative performance: RTD Alternative Measurement Methods in Real-Time Control Applications
In the meantime, I will direct this thread to others so that you can get more detailed device recommendations.
Best regards,
Nicole
Hi Pushkarani,
There are many different ICs that can be used for RTD measurements, but TI doesn't have an RTD direct to temperature IC currently. To further explain the various ways RTD measurements can be made I would suggest reviewing the material in A Basic Guide to RTD Measurements. There are also some design help in the form of an RTD Configuration Calculator and there is a set of library 'C' code that is an ADC Temperature Firmware Library.
This is a good starting point to help come up with a method to measure temperature using an RTD.
Best regards,
