Dear TI
Can I monitor Tx output power in real time while chip(AWR6843) is running?
If chip is measure transmitting power about all Tx, I would like to obtain the information in real-time in CCS, without mmwave studio.
Best Regards

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Texas Instruments. I am reaching out to a member of my team who can respond to this question. We will be back with an answer soon.
Thanks,
-Shareef
Hello Gopi,
You could possibly use an SDK application, you might need to change some code in SDK to trigger monitor.
If you have an MSS application that has enabled TX power monitors and has the capability to receive the monitoring ASYNC reports and parse them, you can run that application and read out the TX power monitoring report sent by the BSS.
Hope this helps,

Hello Shareef
I don't have the mss application.
I guess, I can get ASYNC reports using MmwaveLink_asyncEventHandler in dfptest_setup.c. right?
How can I use MmwaveLink_asyncEventHandler function?
If the value of reportMode in rlTxPowMonConf function is set '0', The function of MmwaveLink_asyncEventHandler is called?
We will need to look into that. A team member will get back to you by tomorrow.

Hello,
Can you please share what binary you are currently using? What is the device / evm in use?
Thank you,
Angie
Also, Please refer to “Diagnostic and Monitoring TI Design” in the TI resource explorer under the “Platform Toolbox”
This has all the code and the details on enabling all the monitoring on the device.
Hope this helps,
-Shareef
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, it was a holiday.
The part number of EVM is AWR6843AOP. The project is using the modified ODD demo.
As your suggestion, I'll try to monitor Tx power refer to "platform Toolbox".
I'll let you know the results after the test.
Thanks for your kind reply.
Best Regards.
Hi J. Soo,
Thank you for the update, looking forward to the results of the test.
Thank you,
Angie
