OPT3101: If OPT3101 can be used to detect the camera lens?

Hi Team

My customer wanna get a way to detect phone camera's lens. Since the phone camera is smoother than other parts, can it be detected by TOF sensor？

    Hello Harry,

    This issue is a characteristic of optical sensors and is not specific to the OPT3101.  Depending on the camera lens reflectivity, the light from the LED will not be fully reflected by the surface of the lens since camera lens are typically transparent at visible and NIR wavelengths.
