LM96163: Using LM96163 as a replacement for LM96063

Good Day.

Customer had systems in production which use:

 - LM96063

 - External MMBT3904 diode (from Diodes Inc.)

He needs to know if there's a way to create equivalent functionality by installing the LM96163, with the same external diode?

Would we be able to replicate the LM96063 function by writing '0' to register x30 in the LM96163? Would any other change be required?
