IWR6843ISK: Re-build binary problem

Hi,

We have problems with our re-build lab project imported from \ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_12_0\labs\Long_Range_People_Detection  a) the long_range_people_det_6843_demo.bin size is only 401KB compared to the prebuilt binary of 544KB, b) Our built binary has some errors when clicking COMport “Test Connection” using the traffic visualizer in \ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_12_0\labs\Traffic_Monitoring\gui\tm_visualizer.exe

Our dev. Environment: Windows10, Core-i7, 16GB RAM, ccsv8, mmwave_sdk_03_05_00_04, mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00, uniflash_6.1.0, mmWaveICBoost + Antenna Module IWR6843ISK rev.D

The provided pre-built binary works just fine. Really appreciate your help.

A side note, the MulticoreImageGen.exe takes 2 hours to complete the build. Is this normally expected?

    Are you building both the DSS and MSS? The bin sizes should be equal or at least very close to equal if you build correctly. You have to build the DSS, then the MSS.

    This is not normal either. Are you building with CCS? I would also recommend updating to the most recent CCS build. CCS8 is pretty old.
