Thank you for the patience. The sensors we typically recommend and more suited for this type of distance would be TUSS44x0 or PGA460. You did mention level in your post are you trying to measure the level of a liquid?

Thanks for the info. It would also mainly depend on what frequency you going to be using as well as what type of interface you prefer. PGA460 is mainly aimed towards making measurements over the air and provides a digital interface that can give you the results via one of its communication methods. TUSS44x0 devices work great over the air and if you want to use high frequency transducers such as the max 1MHz for higher resolution TUSS4470 allows for this. The interface is a bit different because it provides a conditioned analog output of the ultrasonic signal which you can then sample and process in whichever way you want. I think this might be the best solution for your use case since your liquid may have some debris during your measurement.

I am not able to directly answer this question, mainly because the distance depends on a lot of factors. Transducer driving voltage, transducer frequency, measurement topology. These are just some of the factors that influence your measurement range.
If you are trying to get measurements up to 20m my recommendations would be to look at TUSS44x0 devices. The direct drive on TDC1000 is only able to generate 5V max the transducer which does not equate to a large measurement range.
