The range will depend on the chirp configuration.
Have you already created a chirp configuration?
If you are using the oob demo, you will not be able to detect objects at 100m. Usually with the oob demo processing chain which uses TDMA MIMO, you will be able to detect at a max range ~50-60m

Hi,
The distance that can be measured depends on how much energy the object reflects.
So, for example a car will be detected at longer distance than a motorcycle.
There are several demos that can be used.
Have you run the mmWave SDK out of box demo already?
