IWR6843ISK: Chirp Configurtion

Hi,

I am trying to send my configuration file over UART to the sensor. All the commands seem to checkout without issues, however, when it is done , I get the response : Error: Full configuration must be provided before sensor can be started the first time.

Is there a full config that needs to be run first? What am I missing here (is there a repo for typical configurations on resource explorer)? Thanks. Please kindly see the attached config file I am using.

Hi,

Could you please confirm the following:

Which EVM are you using?
Which version of the mmWave SDK are you using?
Which demo are you trying to run?

Hi Josh,

The response to your questions are as follows:

IWR6843ISK (I am connecting through the COM port)
SDK 3.05.00.04
I am trying to run the Long Range People Detection (LRPD)

Hi Odera,

Different labs require different cfg file arguments to run. Please use a cfg file for LRPD as a starting point, then modify it to your needs to avoid missing any arguments. You can find them in the industrial toolbox under \labs\Long_Range_People_Detection\68xx_long_range_people_det\chirp_configs\

Thanks for your response. I now get data streams from the sensor after loading the configs from the folder location you specified. Cheers.
