OPT3001: Sampling rates

Hi,

I am currently working with the OPT3001 and I noticed it has 10hz maximum sampling rate, is that correct ?

if so, does TI have faster sampling rate sensors? like 500 SPS ?

Hi Jameel,

This is correct.

The OPT4001YMN has a minimum conversion time of 600us which translates to about 1667 SPS. However, the YMN package is bottom facing so it must be designed with a cutout in a flex PCB.
