Hi Renan,

First, which of our vital signs demos is this?

Second, which data is the customer hoping to export from the GUI? There are TLV data packets sent out of the device over UART, these data packets are what the GUI uses. Vitals demo specific TLV information is detailed in the User's Guide.

Third, is there a specific interface the customer is hoping to use?

Hi Renan,

I would recommend this customer start by running out OOB demo and following this UART data output guide to understand the UART data which is outputted from out labs.

I would then recommend they look at the developer's guide for the 68xx vital signs demo to see the UART data structure information for this lab.

The customer will find the data structure pictured below detailed in this guide.

I am aware of the following:

1. The calculation are done in the dss_data_path.c function.

2. The vitalsigns_output object contains the breathing rate and heart rate.

3. Everything is then passed to the mss to be passed over UART and the information is displayed by the GUI.

My question is , what part of the application do i modify to send the heart rata and breathing rate data out to Arduino?

a . The dss_data_path.c
b. The Vitalsigns_output object
c. The mss

Hi Renan,

As long as the Arduino is connected over UART, nothing would need to change since the breathing rate and heart rate are included in the Vital Signs Output Stats. The customer would need to parse the UART data to find the breathing and heart rate data in the vital signs output strucute.

I apologize for this late response. My customer just have a few more question .

1) I have the IWR6843ISK and MMWAVEICBOOST. My question is, do i need another board to make the connection with Arduino ?

2) If yes, what type board? (TI launch pad)

3) If no , how i can make the connection because i can't find the UART Serial out (TX) and Serial in (RX) on the MMWAVEICBOOST board. Also i went through the user's guide.

1) Another board should not be needed, however the engineers on this forum are not experts in Arduino products, just TI products.
