AWR1843AOP: reg the max range

In the video "introduction to mmwave sensing -FMCW radars" (available in youtude )by Mr Sandeep rao of TI,

it is discussed that the maximum range that can be detected is dependent on the sampling frequency

supported by the hardware.

But it is dependent on the chirp time only.

In the reference design TIDEP-01024 it is mentioned that max range is 5 meter,

Whether the max range limitation of 5 meter is constrained by the reference design or the device,

whether the max range can be increased.

Please clarify.

    Hi,

       For the TI reference design, the max range is set at 5m based on chirp configuration. It can be increased based on user's discretion. Request you to please refer to mmwave sdk 3.5/3.6 which has oob demo for longer range with AWR1843AOP I guess.
