IWR1443BOOST: Where to define Chirp configuration

Hi,

I am using IWR1443Boost and DCA1000. I have used mmWaveStudio GUI to configure the chirp. But I am not aware of the accessing location/file to define the chirp configuration like the below image(image belongs to a user thread).

Which location/file to access in order to define the chirp configuration?

Please suggest any documents that guide the same.

Hi,

Just to clarify, you have been using mmWave Studio and the DCA1000 to modify your chirp configs, but it now seems you are trying to modify a chirp from a C source/header file, could you provide more context on what you are trying to achieve and what you have done?

Hi,

Yes, I am using mmWaveStudio GUI for now. I wanted to learn to modify the C source/header file to set up the chirp configuration. I can see C source/header file has more freedom to configure the chirp than mmWaveStudio. Please suggest the procedure.

If you want to get started evaluating the device without mmWaveStudio, I would recommend that you first go through the Out of Box Demo for your device from the mmWave Industrial Toolbox. This documentation will guide you on how to get started with the device and its configuration.

Could you please share the documents related to the updated out-of-box demo forIWR1443BOOST EVM? I can see that there are many demos with different versions.

Do you know how to download the exact code of the vital signs lab demo?

Vital signs source code can be found by downloading the mmWave Industrial Toolbox and going to the corresponding demo folder. You may want to specifically pay attention to sections of the guide called "Developer's Guide" in order to understand how to work with the source code.

I tried to run the out-of-box demo for IWR1443BOOST using the link provided by you and the below link: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/content/mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_12_0/tools/Visualizer/docs/mmWave_Industrial_Visualizer_User_Guide.html

I could not find the vital sign demo for IWR1443 BOOST under the demo of the mmwave industrial visualizer.

Could you please help me to run the out-of-box demo for vital signs detection for IWR1443BOOST?

Hi Arjun,

The IWR1443 Vitals Signs demo is not supported by that visualizer, as mentioned in its user guide and release notes. In order to get up and running with this vitals signs demo, please refer to its user guide.
