AWR2944: SDK function to power off DSP

Part Number: AWR2944

Hello,

a customer needs to switch off the previously already running DSP of AWR2944.

The TRM refers to: 5.5.1.2 Software Sequence To Power OFF DSP

So far I have not been able to locate a corresponding function in the SDK that would implement the entire sequence. --> is there a function (but the naming might not be obvsious)?

Hello Stefan,

We do not have a function present in the SDK for this. Only that sequence in the TRM needs to be followed and programmed accordingly.

Saswat,

thanks a lot, so there is no simple way to switch of the DSP.. the MSS needs to triggers the DSS and generate an interrupt on DSP side, and the DSP ISR needs to includes the idle instruction.
Do you see any other solution that would simplify this, i.e. not code on DSP required?

The steps you have mentioned are right. That is the correct way to power off the DSP.
