DCA1000EVM: PC not recognized

Part Number: DCA1000EVM

When DCA1000EVM is connected to PC, port AR is not displayed, Ethernet port does not light up, and only 5V voltage LED lights up.

We suspect that it is the quality of the development board?

Punch 4 from TI, but only one shows this error.

Hello,

A few things to get started. There is the DCA1000 user guide on our Industrial Toolbox for mmWave Sensors which has more information (https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?a=VLyFKFf__4.12.0&node=A__AGTrhNYW8jE6cMxbovlfaA__com.ti.mmwave_industrial_toolbox__VLyFKFf__4.12.0). Do you have all the correct software drivers downloaded? This is mostly the FTDI and XDS drivers. Also, is your 5V power supply being used rated for 3A?

The drivers for FTDI and XDS have been downloaded and installed.The power supply is also 5V 3A. When connected to PC, port AR is not displayed and Ethernet port is not illuminated.

Hello,

And the USB is plugged into the FTDI port of the DCA1000? With your setup I would try having the power supply connected to the DCA1000.

USB has been plugged into the FTDI port of DCA1000. The PC does not prompt for access, and the dca does not work.

Is there a quality problem with the development board? Can you replace it with a new one and send the old one back to you for inspection.

Hello,

Last thing, so when you plug the DCA1000 in the computer, lights turn on correct? And in Device Manager, do you possibly see it show up as an “Unknown Device” or does Device Manager show no change after the DCA1000 is connected

Unknown devices are not displayed in the device manager.Only the 5V power light is on, and the rest are not. Can you send out a new product？
