Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP117, TMP116
I'm looking for a temperature switch/sensor that would keeps it's triggered state even after a power cycle. I think that a digital sensor might do if they require a serial write to reset. The datasheets are not super clear as to the state after a power cycle. At least not for the few datasheet that I read so far.
Also, I need it to be very low current because I get the power from a 600V rail and will be linearly regulated. I can deal with 100uA but below 10uA is preferable, the application is for downhole so the extra heat is not very welcomed. Even if it's a digital sensor, I won't be reading the temperature, I only need the alarm/trigger aspect. Programming/resetting of the device will be done in the lab with normal power supply, so the serial interface/programming doesn't need to be low current.
Again the main need is a Alarm/trigger that keep it's state after a power cycle.
I will much appreciate any insight on this!
Thank you in advance.
