TMCS1100: Vcc 3.3V and Vcc min 3.0 V operation with A4 Version (400mV/A) why not specified

Hi,

in the Datasheet as well as in the product folder it say's for the TMCS1100 and TMCS1001 that it will work for 5V and 3.3V with even a min. spec of 3.0V Vcc.  When although lookign to the tables inside the Datasheets there is the issue that for the A4 versions with 400mV/A gain  this seems the 3.3V optins are not supported becaus its "--"

Could you explain if the devices will still work down to 3.0V ?

If yes are there any spec's which can not be met anymore?

If no what is the min Vcc the A4 Versions would work and what is the gating item ?

    Thanks for using E2E.

    The datasheet is correct, and the A4 variants are not able to be used at the low supply magnitudes specified for the other variants in the datasheet. The minimum supply able to be supplied to the A4 is the 4.5V as given in the datasheet. As shown in this previous forum post, the reason for this differentiation is that the internal signal chain of the A4 variants required larger headrooms to allow proper propagation of the 400mV/A signal. Therefore, it is not recommended to run below the datasheet limit of 4.5V on the supply, as it will most likely lead to possible non-linear operation due to internal amplifier saturation.
