AWR2243: Question on the CP data storage info in swra555a.pdf

Hi,

In app note AWR1xxx and AWR22xx Data Path (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra555a/swra555a.pdf) I found below info.

My questions are as below.

1. Is the figure 6 and 8 shows the CP storage for interleaved ADC instead of non-interleave?

2. The title of figure 6 and figure 8 is same. The content different is figure 6 uses CPREG[4-7] and figure 8 uses CPREG[0-3]. What's the condition (use case/config case) for figure 6 and figure 8?

3. As for AWR2243, the CP data is outputting from CSI2, instead of getting by reading register. What's the relationship between the CP storage and CSI CP data output format in interleave/non-interleave/complex/real condition?

Hi Chris,

The figure 6 has a wrong label. We will get it changed to interleaved. CPREG[4-7] is used to store the interleaved data while the CPREG[0-3] are used to store non interleaved data.

CSI2 will output data based on the cbuff configuration. The application note specifies the details on this. Let me know if there is any specific section you need more clarification on.
