Hi:

I want to modify the Chirp settings of SRR. After using the Esmimator tool to output parameters, I modified the SRR example, but when I want to open the UI, a com port error keeps appearing. Is there anything I need to pay attention to?
In addition, is it wrong that I modify the program according to the parameters produced by the Esmimator tool?

Hello Nicky liu,

Could you confirm whether the underlined changes are the only changes you made? If yes, could you also confirm if you revert these changes, you are able to open the application again?

Hello:
I did some experiments today, it seems to be a problem with the chirp parameter setting. When the ADC sample is below 300, and chirp 0 and 1 are set to 75 respectively, the program can run normally.
But if the number of chirps is set too much, it will not work. How should this problem be solved?

In the Esmimator tool, chirp 0 and 1 must be set to at least 98 to reach my maximum detection distance

Hello Nicky,

So, from what I can understand is that the com port is getting disconnected, as the Frame Idle time is reducing when you are increasing the number of chirps.
So, the main communication over the COM Port happens in the Frame Idle time. Increasing the chirps, reduces the time in the idle time.
