Hi,

The Sense and Direct HVAC Control Lab has been deprecated as of the most recent Industrial Toolbox release. The most recent version of the toolbox which includes that lab is Industrial Toolbox 4.11.

The process to install older versions of the Industrial Toolbox is described at the bottom of the Toolbox Landing Page.

Hi,

I understand. Does the 3D People Counting lab from the Industrial Toolbox 4.12 use any sort of machine learning methods to recognize people? If so could you tell me what documentation/pages say this as I have looked and cannot find it.

Hi,

The people counting demo does not currently use any machine learning techniques. However, there is ongoing work on new machine learning based implementations which will be included in a future release.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response. Currently, we have a gesture recognition lab (Multi Gesture and Motion Detection 68xx) which uses an artificial neural network (ANN), running on the device, to classify two hand gestures. Please find more information here.

Additionally, the next toolbox release (in the coming weeks) will include a new gesture recognition lab which uses similar techniques but supports a larger number of gestures.
