Hi,I want to know,the raHeatmap() funtion in 3D people counting demo(C:\TI\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_11_0\labs\common\src\dpu\capon3d\modules\DoA\CaponBF2D\src),the docx file told me that 8 Antennas are used in the Wall-mount mode ,the dimension of steering vector is 8*1,but the inverse matrics is 4*4 and the nRxAnt is 4,isn't it contradictory?Ant I want to know which 8 antennas are used in the first CaponBF i.e. estimating the amzimuth angle in 6843AOP?

Hi,

On line 212 of the same RADARDEMO_aoaEst2DCaponBF_heatmapEst.c file that you're referring to there is a case for the 8 antennas on the ISK. 4 Antennas is for the ODS or AoP antenna patterns.

Then,I want to know why 4 antennas for AOP,In my opinion ,8 or 12 antennas are more better for CaponBF?

AoP is better for ceiling mount where you need to distinguish between targets in both elevation and azimuth angles. ISK is better at wall-mount when you're really only distinguishing between targets in the azimuth direction.
