MMWAVE-STUDIO: PA Loopback or PS Loopback

Hi Team,

In mmWave Studio, how do we use PA Loopback or PS Loopback to measure the gain of the RX Chain? We do not have a Signal Generator or test equipment capable of outputting 76GHz to 81GHz.

    Hello,

    To use the loopback you would configure the sensor as you normally would (static config, datapath config, sensor config, etc), but you would also need to configure the loopback path in the Loopback tab and enable the loopback with the Loopback enable checkbox. You should not enable any monitors when you are using the loopback.

    For details on the loopback parameters, refer to the AWR_RF_PALOOPBACK_CFG_SB and AWR_RF_PSLOOPBACK_CFG_SB API in the Interface control document in the DFP.
