IWR6843: Is there any problem if the TX1～3 and RX1～4 pin is dropped to GND?

Hello.

We are designing the module with antenna and IWR6843.

I'm considering the structure of the antenna,the antenna terminal may be dropped to GND by DC.

So Is there any problem if the TX1～3 and RX1～4 pin of IW6843 is dropped to GND by DC?

Are you saying that you want to have a stub to ground on the antenna side for matching purposes?

Yes,for reasons of antenna structure and matching,I want to have a stub to ground on the antenna side.

Hi Murakami,

Yes you can do this type of matching on both RX and TX. It should be fine.

Can you share a picture of the antenna with the stub?

In other words, even if the TX1～3 and RX1～4 terminals are dropped to GND, the operation of the internal LNA and PA of IWR6843 will not be affected, right?
