AWR1443BOOST: Error setting up short range detection

Hi Team,

The customer would like to set the maximum range of the EVM to 3m.

Suggested that the customer refers to these links: Programming Chirp Parameters in TI Radar Devices and mmWave Sensing Estimator.

They are able to create a new configuration but are receiving the error below:

I checked their ".cfg" file and found a "dfeDataOutputMode 1" included. Can you help further? Please see the files attached for the configurations:

    Hi,

    I recommend the customer starts with working configuration profile provided in

    C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_02_01_00_04\packages\ti\demo\xwr14xx\mmw\profiles\profile_2d.cfg

    Then, the customer should make changes as follows to the file and test.

    First modify guiMonitor, cfarCfg and peakGrouping and test.

    Second, modify the profileCfg and test that it works

    Please let us know if there are any differences
