IWR6843: Initial RX IQMM calibration fail

Hello,

Recently I have received an "initial calibration status async event" (subblock ID 0x1004) from the RF BIST SS indicating that the RX IQMM calibration failed:

Calibration status = 0x0FFE instead of 0x1FFE -> bit 12 (RX IQMM calibration) = 0 (see image below from the interface control specification of the RF BIST SS)

This error has happened multiple times recently but sometimes disappears after a reset of the device.

What is "RX IQMM calibration"? What is done by the RF BIST SS during RX IQMM calibration? What could make it fail?

Hi Vincent,

Can you provide some background on the software you are using when you encounter this issue? Primarily, what version of the SDK you are using, and if this is based on a demo provided by TI or is entirely custom software.

I am not using TIs SDK, it is entirely custom software.
