IWR6843AOPEVM: I can't use 3 TX with advFrameCfg

In your advFrameCfg, your third argument is a 1, which indicates a single frame.  However, if you are running a real-time demo, it would need to be a zero.  Can you try with that change and see if it works?

Is there a reason you are trying to use the advFrameCfg?  You said that it works when you don't include it, but you only used one profile.  Did you try that way but with two profiles?

I put you my file with one profile : 0451.frameCfg_3TX.cfg and my file with two profiles : 7624.profile_advanced_subframe_3TX.cfg.

The difference between the two is only the addition of the advFrameCfg.

My goal is to have 2 profiles:

1) a profile that allows me to detect a maximum of points (profileCfg 0 60 115 7 15 0 0 100 1 64 9142 0 0 158)

2) a profile that allows me to have the most Doppler speed (profileCfg 1 60 355 7 57.14 0 0 70 1 256 5209 0 0 158)

However, no matter the type of profile, my problem is that I can't use more than 2 chirpCfg

In the profileCfg definition in the sdk user guide, it states that you can only have 1 profile for subframe.  So in your advFrameCfg, you cannot set numSubFrames(the first argument) to 1 while having 2 profiles.

I will look into some internal documentation and get back to you early next week.  Have you also referred to the profile_advanced_subframe.cfg in the sdk that uses multiple profiles and advFrameCfg as well, as it might be able to highlight any differences that you may have compared to yours and see if you are missing any commands.

I am looking into this further still and need some more time.  I will try to get an answer by Friday.  In the mean time, did you confirm that there is no issue with any of the other configuration commands outside of the chirpCfg, profileCfg, advFrameCfg, and subFrameCfg?  Those 4 commands looks correct, so it may be an issue with some of the other commands?

Yes I confirm that profile_advanced_subframe_2TX.cfg works and profile_advanced_subframe_3TX.cfg does not. The difference between the two is only chirpCfg, profileCfg, advFrameCfg and subFrameCfg.

I looked through your configurations again and didn't notice any obvious mistakes.  Can  you confirm that you are using the latest SDK and the visualizer for the latest SDK?  Sometimes if the visualizer version is wrong or you are using the incorrect SDK version some commands may not be recognized.
