LDC1101EVM: can not connect GUI to the LDC1101

Hello, 

With the R12 and C14 shorted, powering up the board puts it into a DFU mode which allows flashing the EVM firmware using our Python Firmware Upgrader tool. Once the board is powered on, the short should be removed and the board should be flashed using the tool. More details for this are in the following E2E thread:

Aside from reflashing the EVM, which version of the GUI are you using? How does the EVM show up in the computer's device manager after you reflash the EVM?

Thanks for quick reply,

I read the article already and did step by step. The thing is that I dont make the evm port like a COM port, I maen when I connect usb to PC it comes up as a unknow device. Tried to download the right deriver for it and now it comes up like a usb port.

After the reflash of the EVM, is the green LED on after the board is plugged in ?

For the EVM showing in device manager, it should show as EVM under the COM Ports: 

If this isn't the case, you can reassign the driver manually. If it is showing up properly and you are still unable to connect to the GUI, can you try the fix mentioned in this E2E thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1171583/ldc1101evm-ldc1101-evm-gui-not-showing-any-com-ports.
