Hello, I have some questions about this sensor:TIPD205.
Does it come with busbar or it can be assembled on any bus bar?
Does it need software to read the data or the output directly can go to the DSP?
What is the maximum continuous working voltage for this sensor? Can it operate on 3000VAC bus bar?
Hello Saeideh,
The TIPD205 does come with a bus bar and with everything pictured here. https://www.ti.com/tool/DRV425-BUSBAR-EVM. This document (users guide) explains the output. https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tiduaz4a/tiduaz4a.pdf
There is a calculator link and more documentation links. You can use this with another bus bar but the hole size could need modificaiton and therefore the 3D printed holder would also change. I would read documentation as there is much more explanation. Bus Bar Theory of Operation (SLOA237), DRV425 Bus Bar Application Magnetic Field Calculator
The output is an analog output and I would measure differentially between the Vref and Vout but is not required.
There is no software as it is an analog output.
The voltage will be dependent on the material used and the creepage(1.524 mm) of the material. This information is also on the users guide. You could modify the design of the holder, hole size and material to get the requirements you require. You can find design files here. https://www.ti.com/tool/TIPD205
