DCA1000EVM: Question about device compatibility

Hello TI community,

I'm having a very basic question because I'm about to buy a DCA 1000EVM device. i know that it's compatible with IWR 1443 and IWR 1642. But i was wondering if it could be compatible with IWR 6843 because i want to buy one also. I have seen that the IWR 6843 could be mounted over the MMWAVEICBOOST board.

And what is the difference between the two (using the DCA 1000 and the MMWAVEICBOOST Board).

Hi Abdella,

The DCA1000 allows you to process raw radarcube data. The MMWAVEICBOOST allows you to debug your src code written to the IWR device.

DCA1000 is compatible with the IWR6843. Some versions of the IWR6843 require an MMWAVEICBOOST. See the EVM Hardware Compatibility Section in the below link to figure out if your version requires an MMWAVEICBOOST.
