Hi Alec/Adrian!
please let me know if you have all information about our problem from Wolfgang ?
We are actually performing certifications test at 2 different testhouses, RISE (on a complete product) in Sweden and CETECOM (radar module) in Germany. The later one has just started, so we expect they will find same issues as RISE soon....
We are starting our volume production in 2 weeks from now
Cheers/Fredrik Huus
Hello,
Sorry for the delay. Based on your chirp configuration, it seems like both failures are related to the test setup.
Regarding the 106GHz and 109GHz peaks, this frequency does not appear to be coming from the radar. It is not a multiple of the synthesizer frequency or the fundamental RF frequency of their chirp configuration, so it cannot be a harmonic of the synthesizer or the fundamental chirp frequency. If the device is run with the TX turned off, do they still see these peaks? Does the frequency of the peaks change if they change the start frequency and bandwidth of their chirp?
Regarding the 6GHz OBW measurement, this is not possible. The radar is not capable of generating a 6GHz chirp. This is most certainly due to the harmonic mixer or something else in the test setup.
Regards,
Adrian
