Hello,
I'm using the AWR1843 radar and I have a question about the antenna. As we know the AWR1843 has 3 transmitters Tx1 and TX3 are aligned in azimuth and Tx2 is offset by lambda/2 in elevation.
In fact, I want to know if it is possible for example to add a dead time on TX1 and Tx3 to compensate the offset on Tx2 (dead Time = 1/ (lambda/2) = (2/lambda) . The goal is to use all Tx1'2'3 in the same direction? (For example if I add (2/lambda) to the time of chirps of TX1 and TX3 I could shift them so that the 3 TX start working in the same direction).
Ps: I want to see if this technique is correct to make the 3 TX work in the same direction and so the number of virtual antennas will be 12 instead of 8 => We can get a better angular resolution.
Best,
