Hi TI Customer Support,

I am working with AWR1243BOOST and DCA1000EVM, I have a question about radar configure maximum range.

I refer mmWave Sensing Estimator and try configuring radar in Short Range (range resolution: 10 cm, max range: 40 cm), but configure sensor mmWave Studio, max range detection not in 40 cm (Range-Doppler heatmap).

So, Can AWR1243BOOST working in short range (10~40 cm)?

Is my sensor configuration being correct?

Hi Tuan,

You can achieve a range resolution of 10 cm with max unambiguous range greater than 40 cm. You can drop the bins exceeding a mapping to 40cms in your Range profile and whilst still retaining range res of 10 cm.
