Hi everyone,

I am currently trying to program the IWR6843AOP.
I used the XDS110 DEBUG PROBE with the JTAG interface.
I compiled an empty project with Code Composer Studio.

The project built correctly but I can't debug.

The message is :

Load program Error.

File:

D:\__\___\___\___\___\___\Debug\Radar.out : a data verification error occurred, file load failed.

The error:

Cortex_R4_0: File Loader: Verification failed: Values at address 0x00000100 do not match Please verify target memory and memory map.
Cortex_R4_0: GEL: File: D:\__\___\___\___\___\Debug\Radar.out: a data verification error occurred, file load failed.

The JTAG test is ok :

Could you tell me how to solve this problem.

Thank you for your reply.

I stay blocked in step 1, I dont succeed to load image of xwr68xx_ccsdebug.bin

I read sucessfully data and registers on Cortex_R4_0 but not on C674X_0.
I can't neither load the program.

I dont understand why I can read data in the device but not program it.

Hi Marceau,

The error that you are seeing when you attempt to flash the image is usually seen when the device is not in the correct state. Before flashing, the device must be set in Flashing Mode then power cycled. Please follow the steps detailed in this guide for setting the device to flashing mode.

Hi Josh,

I set the IWR6843AOP in Flashing Mode:

- SOP0 OFF

- SOP1 OFF

- SOP2 ON

I also try all SOP configuration.

But I have the same problem.

Hi Marceau,

The SOP configuration you listed is for Functional mode. For Flashing mode, the SOP configuration on the MMWAVEICBOOST board should be:

- SOP0 ON

- SOP1 OFF

- SOP2 ON

Is it possible for you to take a picture of your setup and post it here? I'd like to confirm you have all of the switch settings correct on both the MMWAVEICBOOST and IWR6843AOP EVM.

Hi Josh,

I dont use MMWAVEICBOOST and IWR6843AOPEVM, I use only the component IWR6843AOP on a board I made myself and XDS110 DEBUG PROB.

Hi Marceau,

I apologize for the confusion. I understand now that this is a custom board. Please confirm SOP configuration for flashing mode. Are you able to successfully flash any other binary to the device e.g. the out-of-box demo in the SDK?
