IWR6843ISK-ODS: Issue with elevation, jump of cadrant

Part Number: IWR6843ISK-ODS

Hi,

I'm currently working with the IWR6843ISK-ODS for mouvement detection at about 1-2m. I'm noticing strange behaviour with the Out of the box firmware (mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_12_1) and the python industrial visualizer (radar_toolbox_1_00_00_26). The x and y (range) values seem to work find. But the z axis seems to behave very strangely.

As an example, when I'm moving a highly reflective object at about 1m from the sensor in the z axis, I see the object moving and jumping of cadrant (positive value change drastically to equivalent negative values) whenever the angle is higher than roughly 30°. The mouvement is fluid even with this jump but the data if off for some reason. I don't see any configuration parameter that I can change to do such correction. Is there any line in the firmware that could explain this behaviour?

Here's the configuration file I use:
