AWR1843BOOST: How to exporting Data to RasberryPi

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1843BOOST

Hello,

I am wondering how I can export data I am receiving from the AWR1843BOOST evaluation board to a RasberriPi. I am conducting the 'mmWave LAB Medium Range Radar' lab which is referenced in the bottom of this thread question. Essentially we would want to emulate this lab. While conducting our lab we have a GUI which gives us scatter points across a board. For the use of the RasberryPi, we would want to find a way to get numerical values from these scatter points. The reasoning for that would be that we would want to isolate the data and use if statements etc. so the RasberryPi can light up or let off a sound. If there is any way to achieve this or anything similar to accomplishing this task please let me know.

The output from the radar:

Thank you

  • Hi,

You would need to use a peripheral to communicate to Rasberry PI: SPI, ...

We can provide you an internal example that shows how to modify the demo configure SPI on the AWR1843BOOST.

You would need to work to configure the SPI on Rasberry PI.

Unfortunately our team does not have additional information

    thank you
