AWRL6432BOOST: Question about RDIF (LVDS) for raw ADC data capture

Part Number: AWRL6432BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWRL6432

Champs,

AWRL6432 uses RDIF instead of LVDS for raw ADC data capture, and the EVM has conversion logic (SN65LVDS) for data, clock lanes.
So, in order to use DCA1000 for raw ADC capture, custom module board also needs the same conversion logic, is it correct?

What are reasons of changing to RDIF? So, will future devices use RDIF instead of LVDS too?

Best regards,
Hayden
