Hi,

I would just like to know if I can use mmwave to detect a change in density. Example density changes below.

Water to Jello?
Arm thickness due to muscle growth?
Leg become swollen due to infection?

Also, what mmwave board do you recommend I should use to detect a change in density?

Hello Kel,

This is not something we have investigated. So unfortunately I am not sure how possible it would be. For a specific item, the strength of reflection may change with a density change but would likely be very small. This would need to be tested. If testing I would recommend the IWR6843ISK evaluation module.

Thanks. I do not need exact measurements. I just need to detect the change in density. I will most likely use AI or Machine Learning to analyze the data.
