AWR2944: How to configure the LVDS data rate?

Are you trying to use Aurora to extract the raw ADC data and want to configure the LVDS rate for this process?

Pradipta Bandyopadhyay Yes, we use DCA1000EVM   to extract raw ADC data of AWR2944. We want to set LVDS data rate to 300MHz to trouble shotting stability issue as we found adc data output from DCA1000EVM would stop after hours running.

Please use the rlDeviceSetHsiClk API to set the LVDS clock speed. You will find this API in the rl_device.c file. Also you will find more information on this API in the ICD (Interface Control Document) which will be there in the SDK package in the docs folder (in the DFP folder).

Hi,

the rlDeviceSetHsiClk API has been used, you could see the line 745 in Picture 1.

Below is the call path of all functions/APIs, it shows the rlDeviceSetHsiClk has been called clearly:

main → MmwDemo_initTask → MmwRf_Init → MmwRf_startSensor → MmwDemo_openSensor → MMWave_open → MMWave_openLink → rlDeviceSetHsiClk

So we have tried the suggestion you mentioned, Are there any other suggestions?

Your use case should work. Can you kindly confirm the below.

1) After making the change to the hsiClkgs.hsiClk have you saved the file and then provide the build command for the example again to generate new binaries.

2) Can you debug your application and put a breakpoint on the line 745 to check what value is being issued in the API.

3) Can you also confirm if you have made any other changes to the example code.

Have you ever tried change the frequency of PER_PLL from 1.8GHz to 1.2GHz in SBL?

LVDS clk is divided directly from this PLL.
