Peter,
Could you provide some additional info on your application?
What role do you need the inductive sensor to support?
Regards,
John
Speed of projectile will be under 3000fps. Smallest size of projectile is approximately 0.42 inch long with diameter of 0.233 inches. Material is lead.
Peter,
What role will be played by the inductive sensor in your projectile application?
John
It will be an event counter but need to be fast. Has to be analog and don't need a spi busto reduce latency. It needs to trigger the microcontroller to measure the time it takes to pass through two coils (Lsense and Lref) for speed calculations.
Thanks,
Peter.
Peter,
We have never supported an application like yours before, but my guess is that none of our LDC will be fast enough for what you are trying to do.
Our LDCs use a resonant LC sensor with a limited bandwidth, which will slow the response time.

John
