LDC0851: Faster inductive sensor for use as a chronograph

Speed of projectile will be under 3000fps.  Smallest size of projectile is approximately 0.42 inch long with diameter of 0.233 inches.  Material is lead.

It will be an event counter but need to be fast.  Has to be analog and don't need a spi busto reduce latency.  It needs to trigger the microcontroller to measure the time it takes to pass through two coils (Lsense and Lref) for speed calculations.

Thanks John.  Maybe a synchronous demodulator or fsk demodulator may do the job.
