IWRL6432: Detecting non moving object with Iwrl6432

Hi Champ,

I want to do experiment of iwrl6432's detection performance, in distance (and maybe angle) vs RCS, simillar to https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra593a/swra593a.pdf?ts=1677079134640&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F. But I find out that the OOB in Iwrl6432 sdk can't detect non moving object. Is there any ways to the non movable object in Iwrl6432?

Hi Wolfgang,

For the IWRL6432 OOB demo, static clutter removal is enabled by default. This is likely why you do not see non-moving objects. You can disable static clutter removal by modifying the configuration file (.cfg) located at <SDK_INSTALL>\examples\mmw_demo\motion_and_presence_detection\profiles\xwrL64xx-evm. Change the "clutterRemoval 1" to "clutterRemoval 0" to disable.
