Can I change this stack up slightly different from the official one without changing the design of the antennas?

Hello,

Antenna material should be low pro material. As long as RF material is same same antenna design could be reused.

Hi Chetham,

I was reviewing the stack-up and I found this document: PROC010B_Stack_Up.pdf from this link: IWR1443BOOST Layout and Design Files

The stack-up is different:

The material is FR4 370HR vs IT180A.

What is the right material to use?

Hello Óscar,

Top layer (Where Antenna is etched) material need to be RO4835LOPRO material, Inner layer material could either FR4 370HR or IT180A material. Inner layer material will not affect the antenna design. Reference design has been developed with both the stackps.
