Hi,

When Multiple devices are connected to the CAN Bus, based on the priority of the ID given to the nodes by the manufacturer one device gets to talk at a given instant and the others listen. In our security product we have the same priority for all the 3 sensors that we are connecting to the Central unit via CAN. But my question is how should the topology of the CAN bus look? All the sensors connected to the central unit directly via CAN instead of same sensors  connected to the bus and the bus is connected to the Central unit? From my understanding the all the sensors connected to the central unit directly via CAN is the option. Could you please suggest otherwise.
