Hi,

RD survey ToF solution for switching Low beam headlamp and High beam headlamp. The distance is 50m ~ 100m.

is OPT3101 suitable for this application?

Hi David,

With suitable optics and by using de-aliasing mode with 8.57MHz as the de-aliased frequency, up to 105m is achievable with OPT3101.

Hi David,

To add to my last reply, the 3101 can theoretically reach 105m with de-aliasing, but the optics may be difficult to achieve for this, and for this application eye safety will also need to be a consideration which could add to the complexity of the design.
