AWR2944: How long is the gap between each segments on LVDS?

Hi experts,

We are sending Radar data over LVDS on AWR2944, and the size of 1 frame is about 2MB. This data is devided into several segments, as shown in the figure. How long is the t_gap between each segments? Is the t_gap fixed or variable?

additionally, how can we determine when the first byte of a frame is coming on LVDS signals?

Hey Woody,

Can you provide the following information to me:

1. What are the sizes of the different segments and how are you breaking the segments?

2. Are you transferring the data using EDMA? If so, are you using chaining? If not, how are you transferring the data?

Hey Woody,

The first byte of a frame will come when your frame_clock goes high (I am assuming there is clock at lvds_clock).
