Using SDK 3.5.0.4 and Industrial Toolbox 4.12.1

So I have completed the people counting demo using the Industrial Toolbox 4.10.0, with the older matlab GUI, but with the Industrial Toolbox 4.12.1 there is a new "Industrial Visualizer" that is used for multiple demos including people counting. I am trying to get the Occupancy Counter demo to work but am unsuccessful in finding which GUI tracks exits and enterances from people such as in this demo video . I have found the folder called "overhead_occupancy_counter_gui.zip". It has documentation for how the occupenacy detector should work but no actual GUI for keeping a headcount. Essentially asking if anyone has gotten occupancy counter working and how specifically they did that. Thanks

Hi Christopher,

If I understand correctly, you want to use the 3D People Counting Demo on Industrial Toolbox Version 4.12.1 with the MATLAB occupancy counter visualizer, is that correct?

In the overhead_occupancy_counter_gui.zip, I see MATLAB files, but they correspond to what appears to be Industrial Toolbox (ITB) 4.10. In the ITB 4.12, we made out output format universal across all our labs, so you will need to change the switch-case block found on line 529 based off the following doc (it appears you need to change the 6 -> 1020, 7->1010, 8 -> 1011 and 11-> to a 1021)

Once these changes are made do I replace the 'overhead_demo_visualizer.m' in overhead 3d people counter gui with the modified 'overhead_demo_visualizer_occupancy_counter.m'? having trouble implementing changes. Also appears a lot of code is commented out some of which may relate to occupancy counter.

Hi Christopher,

I think the overhead_demo_visualizer_occupancy_counter.m file is a standalone tool, so you would not use the overhead_demo_visualizer found in C:\ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_10_1\labs\People_Counting\overhead_3d_people_counting\gui at all. Are you finding errors with that?
