AWR2243: power consumption when Monitor is enabled.

Hi experts

When we enable the monitor of AWR2243. 

1.Will the power consumption of AWR2243 increase?  If so, how should we estimate how much power will increase? 

2.Will monitor affect the mechanism of dynamic power save?

    Hello,

    Yes, there would be some power consumption associated with some of the monitors. Any transmitting monitors will enable the PA for a short monitoring chirp which will increase the power for that duration.

    No, the inter-chip dynamic power save will not be impacted by monitors. This will only be dependent on your inter-chirp idle time.
