OPT3101: Using multiple sensors in obstacle avoidance application

Part Number: OPT3101

For an obstacle avoidance applications we are evaluating the OPT3101 sensor.

We would like to get at least three distance points (using different OPT3101 sensors)

Is it possible to use multiple OPT3101 in the same application?
Is there a chance that one could influence the other?

Hello Roberta,

It is possible to use multiple OPT3101's in the same application, as long as PD do not saturate one another. However, our OPT3101 can also support up to 3 LEDs which can give you up to 3 separate zones of detection. Is this not enough for your application?
